Hawaiian Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Cups

A rich, decadent mousse blends the rich flavors of Hawaiian Hazelnut coffee with creamy
chocolate and a touch of hazelnut.
WHAT YOU NEED
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3 large egg yolks
1 cup brewed Don Francisco's Hawaiian Hazelnut coffee
6 tablespoons granulated white sugar, divided
2 cups heavy cream, divided
Whipped cream, for topping
Shaved chocolate, for topping
HOW TO MAKE
In a saucepan, whisk together egg yolks, Don Francisco's Hawaiian Hazelnut coffee, 4
tablespoons of the sugar, and ¾ cup of the cream. Cook over medium heat for 2
minutes.
Add coffee mixture to the melted chocolate and whisk until smooth. Refrigerate until
completely chilled.
Beat the remaining cream and sugar until stiff peaks form.
Remove the chocolate mixture from the refrigerator and whisk, then gently fold in the
whipped cream.
Divide the mousse evenly into serving cups and chill for at least 1 hour.
Top with whipped cream, shaved chocolate, and additional coffee beans for a touch of
elegance (optional).
Tips
For an extra hazelnut kick, sprinkle some chopped hazelnuts over the mousse before
serving.
This mousse is best enjoyed chilled.
