Cold brew versus Iced coffee
While both beverages are in fact served cold, the brewing method is significantly different. Here are the basics:
Cold water affects how coffee grounds are utilized during the brewing process. Because of this, tests have shown coffee brewed using the cold water method is actually less acidic and more mild - offering a slightly dense and silky texture you won't often find with traditionally brewed coffee. It's also naturally sweeter, reducing the need for added sugar.
Making Cold Brew at home
