NOT WHOLE BEAN
I received the Guatemala Antigua coffee as part of a bundle (Single Origin Coffee Bag Bundle). The bundle was supposed to consist of one bag each of Columbian Supremo (ground), Costa Rica (Whole Bean) and Guatemala Antigua (Whole Bean). However, both the Costa Rica and Guatemala Antigua were ground. What's crazier is that they were both in bags that were labeled Whole Bean (just as pictured on the website) but they had a small round sticker applied next to the "Whole Bean" label that said "Ground by Experts". I am new to the brand and this was my first time ordering from their website. I'm not sure if I accidently selected something (or didn't select something) that made them pre-grind? I'm in no way complaining about the flavor of the coffee as the flavor is top notch. What bothers me is I have my own coffee grinder that was rather expensive. If I wanted previously ground coffee, I would have ordered previously ground coffee. I am the only consistent coffee drinker in the house, so I prefer to buy whole bean when available because I know the shelf life (flavor wise) is longer with whole bean. But the fact that I only knocked off 1 star for the mix-up tells you how good that coffee is!
Great! Love the Coffee.
